Rasa Summit: an offline developer conference
How I created branding and marketing collateral for Rasa Summit, Rasa's annual developer conference
In 2019, Rasa hosted the inaugural Rasa Summit, a 1-day conference dedicated to Rasa developers and practitioners. We had hosted a smaller, intimate meetup in the Rasa office the previous year, but 2019 marked our first large scale event, hosted in Gallery 308 in San Francisco.

As the sole designer (freelance) at Rasa at the time, I worked alongside Rasa’s newly appointed VP of Marketing, plus other stakeholders in the company, to create all the marketing collateral for the conference.
This included sub-branding for the conference, creating a microsite to promote the conference and register attendees, social media assets, conference presentations for Rasa folks, plus all the venue collateral to create a branded experience on the day.
We created a branded wall decal with the Rasa logo and mascot, pull-up banners, directional/informational signage, name tags and branded lanyards, branded swag and a photo booth for conference attendees to create social media content to win prizes on the day.
Overall, the event was a success, and laid the foundations for bigger conferences in the proceeding years. At the 2019 Summit, we had 250 registrations representing 150 companies around the world.
You can read a recap of the event on the Rasa Blog.
