The concept of Level-3 AI (L3-AI) is centered around AI emerging beyond the idea of simple notification and FAQ chatbots, towards fully contextual assistants. I came up with the motif of ongoing discovery, with hiking and trail maps depicting the many conversation paths that a Level 3 contextual assistant needs to navigate.

I commissioned our freelance illustrator to come up with the visuals, which I then paired with some simple branding, style guide, website and marketing collateral.

I also worked closely with a freelance video editor to create motion graphics, which we used across social media, the live talks and the edited videos post-event.

Results

The event was a huge success, and across the 3 days, we had 4,300+ online attendees from around the world, 50+ speakers, and over 40 sessions.

In 2021, both the conference and company saw significant growth following the success of the previous year. I led a larger team and brought on a Visual Designer on retainer, adding capacity for fresh illustrations and motion graphics. My role this year moved more towards creative direction, while still being responsible for creating and maintaining the website alongside our frontend engineer.
